"My family and I were fans of Jeff’s work via his Instagram posts. This summer, my 14-year old daughter had the opportunity to complete a ballet intensive in Chicago - which provided the opportunity for a photoshoot with Jeff.
Given that this was our daughter’s first formal photoshoot, we appreciated Jeff’s early communication with our daughter and exploring different ideas. All of Jeff’s suggestions were spot-on and appreciated. During the photoshoot, Jeff had a great rapport with our daughter and his knowledge of ballet movements and positions is a great asset!
Jeff delivered EXACTLY what we wanted - his photographic eye and aesthetic - with our daughter as the subject matter. We are already thinking about our next shoot with Jeff."

Just so I don't waste your time, I'd like to emphasize it's important you hire someone who fits your needs the best, and I might not be the right photographer for everyone.
I pride myself on capturing both the beauty and the techniques dancers worked tirelessly to acquire. I pride myself on communicating with the dancers, asking questions, offering suggestions and going over details prior to the shoot and deliver only the highest quality images. And I pride myself on providing more than just photographs, but a personalized experience tailored to your unique personality. If you believe quality over quantity, and if you believe anything worth having is worth making an effort for, let's get the conversation started.
Dancers who are still minors MUST have a parent or legal guardian present during the shoot. Adult dancers, it is still good practice to bring a companion as well, and I personally prefer you bring someone.

"Thank you so much for this amazing experience. We decided to take a spontaneous trip to the place where all our big city dance memories started to capture a combination of dance and senior pictures.
Jeff did not disappoint. He made sure we came prepared and had picked out the perfect locations. It did not take long for my daughter to warm up to him and we truly enjoyed every moment.
Not only did Jeff capture some amazing photos, he sent a video that we will treasure forever as we prepare to send her off to pursue new goals and dreams. Jeff puts his whole heart into his art and we will recommend you highly!"

Do I have to be a professional dancer?
Absolutely not! I want to work with dancers who are passionate about this wonderful art form. All levels welcome.
Can I review the images during the shoot?
Absolutely! It is imperative the photographer and the dancer are on the same page. There will be no biscuits in our images!
Can I purchase additional images?
Absolutely. Contact me for special bundle pricing when you order more than one.
Why don't you offer as many images as other photographers?
Quality over quantity! You didn't go through years of intense training to have subpar images captured. If the number of photos is your biggest concern regardless of quality. I'm not the right photographer for you.
Can I order prints through you?
Absolutely! I am an avid proponent of making prints! I believe a photo shoot is not completed unless prints are made. The feeling of pride and the confident boost from admiring the images from our session, in your own home, is a gift that keeps on giving.
Do you shoot audition/headshots?
Absolutely! For dancers who's looking to a professional career path, audition and headshots are incredibly important! It's the difference between a call back and being passed on.
